Teaching Artist
Ann Noling is a NYC based director and teacher, born and raised in Brooklyn. She has been teaching and caring for children in Brooklyn for many years and is excited to join the Treasure Trunk community! She loves watching her students find new confidence, emotional expression, and empathy through storytelling. As a director she is drawn to stories that are language-driven, rooted in compassion, and interrogate community. She has directed productions at The Cherry Lane Theatre, Dixon Place, The Brick, The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center, and The Fourth Street Theatre, and has worked with Playwrights Horizons, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Manhattan Theatre Club, The Vineyard Theatre, and New York Theater Workshop in various directing and artistic fellowships and internships. She received her BA in American Studies from Tufts University and her MFA in directing from Brooklyn College. She is also a proud alum of Community Word’s Teaching Artist Project.
