Teaching Artist
Ellie Swartz is so excited to be joining the Treasure Trunk Team as a Teaching Artist! She is a classically trained singer, professional actor and has been teaching dance and theatre to children for over 8 years.Elliegraduated Magna Cum Laude from Muhlenberg College in May 2019 with a B.A. in Theatre and Music. She studied Physical Theatre and Commedia dell’arte at the Accademia dell’Arte in Arezzo, Italy. In addition to teaching theatre this year, Ellie is touring around the country as Peter Rabbit in the National Tour of Peter Rabbit Tales. Regional credits: Bring it On (Eva), The Sound of Music (Liesl von Trapp), Beltsville/Rockville (Mol), Sprouted! (Mo the Cow). Ellie is also a composer and songwriter and is currently producing her own EP. She is so excited to explore the magic of theatre with students at Treasure Trunk!
