Teaching Artist
James Smart is an actor, musician, composer, teaching artist, and air guitar competitor. He has studied classical performance, musical theatre, and new play development at Roosevelt University and Columbia University, and has performed with the Classical Theatre of Harlem, Chautauqua Theater Company, First Folio Theatre, Underscore Theatre Company, and Three Brothers Theatre. His original music has been performed in a variety of productions across NYC. James has led Shakespeare workshops with The Young Company and offers guitar and voice lessons.
