Marissa is thrilled to be a part of your child’s creative journey! Encouraging children to be themselves and helping them find their own beat is incredibly important to Marissa, and in striving to do so, she aims to create a nurturing, safe, and fun space for all little imaginations! She received her BFA from the University of Florida in Musical Theatre, and since then, Marissa has worked professionally in Regional Theatres, classrooms, films, voice over productions, and theme parks (Walt Disney World and Resorts) all around the country. Marissa grew up leading children’s camps in her community and found a passion working with kids at an early age. She saw that by connecting to one tiny heart, you can make a world of difference! Along-side her theatre career, Marissa has also worked as a music teacher (The Music Class Inc.) and childcare professional up and down the east coast. She can’t wait to meet you and your little treasures at the Trunk!
