Teaching Artist
Nora Daly is a drama teacher, writer, and performer. As a teaching artist, they have worked with Wingspan Arts, Portland Stage Company, and Breakwater School. Their play Bouncing off the Ceiling premiered at The Tank in 2021. Their multimedia solo show [do they take] song requests in the void? premiered at PORTfringe Festival in 2023. Selected performance credits include: Traffic (The Brick, Exponential Festival), In the Woods Where the Men Work (Dixon Place, The Tank), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Shakespeare To Go). They live in Brooklyn with their dog, Bob Fosse. As an educator, Nora believes that play is vital at every stage of life and that, for so many of us, embracing playfulness can be an act of healing and liberation. Nora makes plays for kids and adults (often both) and inner children.
