Nairoby Otero

Teaching Artist

Big Easy charm meets NYC grit! I hail from the vibrant streets of New Orleans, where my Cuban heritage instilled in me a passion for life and fluency in Spanish (¡gracias, familia!). Recently, I graduated with an MFA from Brooklyn College, where my artistic endeavors were recognized with prestigious awards like the Schubert Foundation Scholarship, the TOW International Research Fellowship, and the Best of Brooklyn College distinction. While my days might be filled with the thrill of artistic creation, my evenings are about indulging in the city’s finest culinary offerings and soaking up the magic of live theatre. Whether dissecting the latest masterpiece or debating the merits of a pop artist’s latest album, I’m always up for a stimulating conversation over a delicious meal. So, let’s connect and explore the wonders of art, food, and everything in between!
