Teaching Artist
Timothy Gage is a New York City based theatre artist and educator. As an artist, Timothy works
as a director and choreographer mounting shows with students ages 5 – 18. As an educator, they
have taught acting, dance, writing, improv, speech, movement, and more to students ages 3 – 80.
Timothy currently teaches for New York Theatre Workshop, TADA! Youth Theater, A Class
Act NY, and Brooklyn Acting Lab. They have also taught at Phoenix Productions’ Rising Star
Academy, Stagedoor Manor, Movement & Characters, and Millbrook Playhouse. They hold a
BA in Theatre Arts from SUNY New Paltz and are currently working towards their MA in
Educational Theatre in Colleges and Communities at NYU Steinhardt.
