Teaching Artist
Dorea is a Brooklyn based professional actor, director, and coach with a BA in Media, Culture, and the Arts with a business focus. She recently pivoted from working full time in finance to focus her full efforts into her true passion: the arts. She has 8 years of experience working with theaters across New York, in the off-broadway, and community theater scene. Dorea loves working with children in theater and has worked on shows such as The Sword & the Stone, Pirate Pete, Miracle on 34th Street, The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe, just to name a few! She is honored to be a part of your child’s storytelling experience and her hope is to always encourage kiddos to embrace their love of music, dance, theater, and imagination.
